Spain and Portugal deny 2018 World Cup deal | Metro.co.uk: "Fifa is probing an alleged agreement between two countries bidding separately for the two tournaments to exchange votes, something strictly forbidden.
Fifa did not name the countries but former general secretary Michel Zen-Ruffinen is alleged to have told undercover reporters Spain/Portugal has a deal with Qatar.
Miguel Angel Lopez, chief of the Iberian bid, said: ‘I’m ready to work with Fifa to clear this matter up."
